LEGACY DAWG TARGETS
The commitment of 2023 cornerback Marcus Washington Jr. was significant on multiple fronts. Firstly, and most importantly, Washington Jr. is immensely talented with 4.4 speed and a very athletic 6’1″ 175-pound frame. Secondly, Washington Jr. adds to the momentum that the Dawgs are currently carrying in the classes of 2022 and 2023, both of which have a number 1 ranking right now in the 247Sports team rankings. Thirdly, and finally, Marcus Washington Jr. is a Georgia legacy, the son of former Dawg linebacker Marcus Washington, and his commitment could be the first of as many as 4 to the University of Georgia from Bulldog legacies in the class of 2023.
