Defending Champion: Brian Stuard won in 56 holes... only 3 rounds of regulation play due to tremendous rain and delays, and it took 2 playoff holes to capture the title. Of course this was an invididual stroke play event at the time.
Fun Fact: The tournament scoring record is held by UGA’s own Chip Beck, him shooting a 262 (26 under par) for 4 rounds back in 1988 when the tournament was held at Lakewood Country Club.
