Darnell Washington is one of the biggest stories heading into this year’s draft, and it’s fitting given that he is literally one of the biggest players in this class. Officially measuring in at 6-foot-7 and weighing in at 272 pounds at the Georgia Pro Day yesterday, Washington looks like a man amongst boys even when standing around fellow college football players.
His size has always been his X-factor. It definitely contributed to his high school recruitment. Coming out of Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas, Nevada Washington boasted the highly sought after five-star status. But it wasn’t just his size that set him apart.
