Nicolas Cassidy and Caleb Manuel will be representing the Georgia men’s golf program this week in the 2022 U.S. Amateur Championship.
The U.S. Amateur will consist of 36 holes of stroke play – 18 each on Monday and Tuesday – after which the field will be reduced to the low 64 scorers. There then will be six rounds of match play starting Wednesday with the 36-hole final slated for Sunday.
Cassidy, a rising senior for the Bulldogs, will tee off at 7:10 a.m. on Monday and at 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday. Manuel, who will be joining Georgia after two seasons at Connecticut, has been assigned tee times of 1:39 p.
