Commit: Cedartown ATH gives pledge to UGA

After a rough news cycle this week, the Georgia Football program received news Wednesday afternoon that four-star athlete C.J. Washington was committing to the Bulldogs.

This is Georgia’s second verbal commit of the 2022 cycle and Washington picking UGA over Georgia, LSU and Tennessee.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Cedartown native is listed as the 97th overall prospect in the country, per 247Sports. He’s also the No. 5 inside linebacker in the 2022 class as well.

The Bulldogs and Volunteers both offered Washington on Dec. 2, 2019 after a dominant performance in the Georgia Elite Classic.
