Georgia football has been in a long battle with USC as both programs have been fighting to earn the No. 1 spot in the 2026 team recruiting rankings. While these two programs continue to battle it out for that crown, they are also going head to head for one of the top recruits in the 2027 class from the state of California.
That recruit is corner Donte Wright who committed to Georgia on June 30. Wright currently is Georgia's top commit in the 2027 class as well, so he is someone Gerogia does not want to lose.
