Former Georgia and Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields was selected with the No. 11 pick in the 2021 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears.
The former No. 2 overall recruit out of Kennesaw, Georgia had an illustrious collegiate career. Sadly for UGA fans, all of Fields’ accomplishments came in a Buckeyes uniform — Fields transferred from Georgia following his true freshman season in 2018.
Now Fields appears to be impressing his new coaches in Chicago, where he’ll have an opportunity to soak up knowledge from veterans Andy Dalton and Nick Foles.
Bears quarterback coach John DeFilippo recently spoke with the Chicago Sun-Times to discuss Fields.
