On Sunday Georgia football learned that they earned the No. 3 seed in the final College Football Playoff bracket. This was where Georgia was positioned entering the SEC Championship game, and since they beat Alabama everyone thought they would move up to No. 2 because of Ohio State's loss to Indiana.
That however did not occur as the committee kept the Buckeyes above Geoergia at No. 2.
This decision from the committee makes no sense because Georgia has the far better resume. Their resume includes a conference championship which the Buckeyes do not have as well as a better win against Texas.
