CFP committee reward Georgia ahead of SEC Championship showdown with Alabama

The College Football Playoff committee released their second to last rankings of the season, and Georgia is officially on the move once again. The Bulldogs may have only beat Georgia Tech 16-9, but they got some help from Texas A&M’s loss to Texas which allowed Georgia to move up one spot to No. 3.

Ohio State once again remained at No. 1 while Indiana held steady at No. 2. The Buckeyes and Hoosiers will play for a Big Ten Championship on Saturday, so if Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC title game they will enter the CFP as the No.
