Georgia football has announced some major scheduling changes for their upcoming seasons in 2026 and 2027. The Bulldogs were scheduled to begin a home-and-home series with Louisville next year, but both programs announced on Wednesday that this series has officially been cancelled.
The SEC played a big part in this decision when they added a ninth conference game beginning in 2026. Georgia already had four non-conference games scheduled for next season, so they had no choice but to cancel on one of those teams. Unfortunately Georgia picked the only power four opponent (outside of Georgia Tech) to cancel on, and fans have the College Football Playoff committee to thank for that.
