The second edition of the College Football Playoff rankings that were released on Tuesday gave Georgia an extremely difficult path to a National Championship. The Bulldogs would have to go through No. 4 Alabama and No. 1 Ohio State just to make it to the National Championship game, and no one needs to be told how difficult that would be.
But before UGA would play either of those games they would have to get past their first round opponent. That is where Georgia’s CFP journey couldn’t get any easier as they would be matched up with 12-seed USF which on paper would be an easy win.
