CBS Sports’ Danny Kannell’s lack of enthusiasm towards the SEC is well documented. His dislike towards the four-team College Football Playoff is well noted. And his fondness for the undefeated UCF Knights has been often expressed.
While appearing on CBS Sports and making a case for the College Football Playoff to expand to eight teams, the former Florida State quarterback argued that No. 11 UCF could go “toe-to-toe” with the Georgia Bulldogs, using UGA’s performance in last year’s Rose Bowl to make his case.
“You didn’t hear anybody complain about that game, when Georgia gave up over 500 yards of total offense, nobody had a problem with that,” he said.
