The SEC announced its season equestrian honors today, and it was a banner effort for the Georgia Bulldogs. Eleven UGA riders earned honors, including five who received Rider of the Year honors. Georgia had seven All-SEC Team honorees, three riders named to the All-Freshman Team, and one rider named to the Community Service Team.
As if that wasn't enough to brag about, Head Coach Meghan Boenig rounded out the awards by earning SEC Coach of the Year honors for the second year in a row. Boenig led the Bulldogs to a 10-2 regular season record and a second place finish at the SEC Championship.
