Outside the gridiron, there’s not a shortage of action going on around campus in the fall,as well. Beyond The Hedges takes a look at the other teams carrying the UGA banner.

In women’s soccer, an aggressive approach paid off Sunday in a 5-0 win over Maryland. Georgia (2-2) plays at Belmont Thursday and at Clemson on Sunday before hosting Georgia Southern on Sept. 13.

On the links, a final-round score of 11-under par 349 carried the Bulldogs to a fourth-place finish in the Carmel Cup. Overall, Georgia ended the tournament at Pebble Beach at 17-under, and the Sunday round was the best of the weekend for Georgia.
