For so many new pieces coming together in Sanford Stadium, Saturday was one to remember for the Georgia Bulldogs faithful. Throughout their blowout victory over the Marshall Thundering Herd, this one transfer broke out in a big way for them. Former USC Trojans wide receiver Zachariah Branch made his presence felt in not only the receiving game, but as a key contributor over on special teams.
Branch had a quick connection with new starting quarterback Gunner Stockton. He caught three passes for a game-high 95 yards and a touchdown. Branch also fielded three punts for 24 yards earlier in the contest.
