A moment of reflection midway through the 2019 UGA offseason

May 2 marks the exact midpoint of the 2019 UGA football offseason. It’s been 121 days since the Dawgs’ disappointing Sugar Bowl loss to Texas and it will be another 121 days before they kick off next season with a matchup at Vanderbilt.

Let’s take a look back at some of what’s occurred so far in the offseason and what to expect for its remainder.

Recruiting…

This offseason was one of the best in program history in terms of recruiting. UGA acquired some of the top talent in the 2019 class, including the number one player in the country in defensive end Nolan Smith as well as one of best inside linebackers in Nakobe Dean.
