While some publications suggest that the Georgia Bulldogs lost a lot of talent this past offseason, that’s not exactly true. Athlon named 12 UGA players to their All-SEC teams earlier this offseason. yesterday they named 5 to their All-American lists.
On offense, the Dawgs saw D’Andre Swift and Andrew Thomas make the list. swift was named a 2nd team all-purpose back which seems fitting. of all the RB’s they listed, Swift was by far the most versatile. As UGA fans saw several times last year, he’s as good of a pass catcher as he is a runner.
