The University of Georgia added a commitment from outside linebacker Donovan Westmoreland back in Jan. 2021. Now, Westmoreland has flipped his commitment to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Westmoreland is a member of the class of 2022 and is ranked as a three-star recruit. He plays football for Griffin High School in Griffin, Georgia. Georgia offered him a scholarship back in Sept. 2020.
Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs now have 12 commitments in the class of 2022. One of these commitments is inside linebacker C.J. Washington. Westmoreland made his decision not too long after Georgia secured a commitment from elite outside linebacker Jalon Walker.
