Saturday was so close to being the perfect day for Georgia. They did handle their business against Texas in dominant fashion as they took the Longhorns down 35-10, but even though Georgia has finished their SEC season at 7-1 they still need some help to make the SEC Championship game.
Texas A&M is the last undefeated team remaining in the SEC, but they were close to being upset by South Carolina this weekend. Georgia's spot in the SEC Championship game would have been clinched had the Gamecocks won, but unfortunately that did not happen.
