2 former Georgia Bulldog starters cut by Broncos, Titans

NFL rosters were trimmed down on Monday, and two former Georgia football stars were among the casualties as offensive tackle Xavier Truss and wide receiver Matt Landers were given their walking papers on Monday.

Truss was a two-year starter for the Bulldogs, playing primarily at right offensive tackle, while Landers started several games at wide receiver before transferring to Toledo and then back into the SEC with Arkansas for his senior year.

Xavier Truss played in over 60 games in his career at UGA

A highly touted four-star recruit out of Bishop Hendricken High School in Rhode Island, the 6'7" 330-pound Truss played at UGA from 2020-2024 and was a member of two National Championship teams in 2021 and 2022.
