WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women’s basketball junior guard Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll the league announced on Monday. It is the third nod to the weekly honor for White this season and the seventh of her career.
In a 2-0 week for the Hoyas, White averaged 16.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals. The junior shot 50 percent from the field in Friday’s 63-52 win at Butler, totaling 19 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists. On Sunday, White managed 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 65-48 victory at Xavier.
