WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball freshman guard Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after a 1-1 week for the Hoyas (5-2), who return home this week after a five-game road trip.
White averaged 19.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists this week for the Hoyas. The freshman totaled 22 points, four assists and seven boards in Georgetown’s 63-57 comeback win at George Mason before a 17-point effort in a loss at St. Bonaventure.
She is currently second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.
