PAC-12 Nixes Sports through Jan. 1 — Wooden Legacy Games Impacted

While this point in August usually features our lamentation of Georgetown’s resistance to publishing a non-conference schedule before Labor Day, COVID-19 and its impact on collegiate athletics has us all playing a different sort of waiting game this year. We got an inkling of insight into the autumn’s basketball games (or lack thereof) earlier this afternoon, when the PAC-12 Conference announced that they were suspending all athletic competition through January 1, 2021.

Your Georgetown Hoyas were slated to participate in the 14th iteration of the Wooden Legacy pre-season event in Anaheim, CA during the Thansksgiving holiday, along with UCLA, Kansas, and UVA.
