Your Georgetown Hoyas (8-8, 1-4) put up a good fight down the stretch against a surging Seton Hall Pirates (11-5, 4-1 Big East) but came up a bit short, 74-70. The Hoyas have a two-game road trip starting swing with 4/4 UConn on Sunday, January 14 (noon, FOX) at the XL Center.
Georgetown was on the cusp of at least turning a less-than-perfect evening into a memorable one.
Then came four consecutive turnovers and eight consecutive Seton Hall points, dooming the Hoyas to a 74-70 loss.
