WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women’s basketball team will continue BIG EAST Conference play on Friday evening matching up against the St. John’s University Red Storm at 7 p.m. at Carnesecca Arena. On Sunday, the Hoyas will travel to South Orange, New Jersey for a 1 p.m. contest against Seton Hall University. Both games will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
Georgetown made a spirited comeback down the stretch, but fell to the Villanova University Wildcats, 60-58, in a BIG EAST matchup on Wednesday evening at McDonough Arena. With the loss the Hoyas dropped to 7-8 overall and 2-3 in league play.
