PHILADELPHIA - The Georgetown University women’s basketball team outscored Villanova University, 11-2, over the final 3:32 of the game, en route to a 57-51 win on Sunday afternoon in a BIG EAST Conference game at The Pavilion.
With the win, the Hoyas snapped a four game losing streak and improved to 10-9 overall and 3-6 in the BIG EAST, while the Wildcats fell to 12-7 and 6-3 in conference play.
Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) led the Hoyas, finishing with a game highs of 20 points and 11 rebounds for her first career double-double.
