BURLINGTON, Vt. - The Georgetown University women's basketball team (3-1) defeated the Quinnipiac University Bobcats (3-2), 80-68, on Friday in the first semifinal of the 2015 TD Bank Classic at the University of Vermont. The Hoyas will play in the championship against St. Francis (Brooklyn) on Saturday evening.
“It’s a great team win on the road against a very good Quinnipiac team that is used to winning, and went to the NCAA Tournament last year,” said Head Coach Natasha Adair. “We saw so many good things in our team, and we did it together.
