WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women’s basketball team will travel to George Mason University (3-5) on Wednesday evening for a 7 p.m., matchup at EagleBank Arena. The Hoyas are currently 4-1 on the season, and won the 2015 TD Bank Classic last weekend in Burlington, Vt.
On Monday, freshman guard Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week for the second-consecutive week. Additionally, sophomore guard Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
White claimed the top newcomer honor for the second-straight week after leading Georgetown to the TD Bank Classic crown, and earning a spot on the all-tournament team.
