WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men’s basketball team was back on campus soon after Christmas and departed on Tuesday afternoon for its BIG EAST Conference opener, on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at DePaul in Rosemont, Ill. Tipoff at Allstate Arena is slated for 9 p.m. (ET).
The game will be shown live on FOX Sports 1, with Joe Davis calling the play-by-play, and Dickey Simpkins serving as the color analyst. Fans locally can tune in to the radio call of Rich Chvotkin on 106.7 FM The Fan WJFK.
Georgetown improved to 7-5 overall with a 62-59 win at Charlotte last Tuesday, the team’s final non-league game before the start of BIG EAST Conference play.
