Georgetown Comes Back to Beat DePaul, 76-73

WASHINGTON – Junior guard L.J. Peak (Gaffney, S.C./Gaffney) scored Georgetown’s last five points in the final 54 seconds and the Hoyas held off a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer, beating DePaul, 76-73, at Allstate Arena Tuesday night.

It was the third-straight win for the Hoyas, and the second consecutive on the road. Georgetown improves to 13-10 overall and 4-6 in the BIG EAST Conference, while the Blue Demons fall to 8-14 overall and 1-8 in league play.

Graduate student Rodney Pryor (Evanston, Ill./Notre Dame Prep/Robert Morris), playing in front of nearly 60 family and friends, scored a game-high 26 points to lead Georgetown.
