Georgetown basketball has two more games postponed after positive test

Georgetown basketball has had two more games postponed after a positive coronavirus test within the team’s Tier 1 personnel grouping — which includes players, coaches and staff members.

The Big East announced Wednesday that the Hoyas’ game against DePaul, scheduled for that night, had been postponed. The conference announced Thursday that Georgetown’s games against Providence on Saturday and Marquette on Wednesday are also postponed, with no makeup dates currently announced.

The Hoyas are 3-8 and 1-5 in Big East play. This is Georgetown’s fifth postponed game this season; in December, contests against Connecticut and Creighton were postponed.
