WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football program was recognized by the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) as one of the 14 FCS recipients of the Academic Progress Rate (APR) Award, sponsored by Forward Progress. The award is presented to the program with the highest APR score in each of the 13 FCS conferences. Georgetown and Holy Cross tied for the best score in the Patriot League.
The APR Award, given for the 2013-14 academic year, was presented during the FCS ADA Luncheon sponsored by Borden Perlman Insurance Agency during the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Convention in Orlando, Fla.
