WASHINGTON - Georgetown University men’s basketball player Bradley Hayes (Jacksonville, Fla./Sandalwood) was selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after helping lead the Hoyas to a pair of wins last week.
The Hoyas, who beat Brown 74-57 on Monday night, have won four-straight games, and five of the last six overall, to improve to 5-3 this season.
Hayes averaged 16.0 points and 8.5 rebounds, while shooting 57.9 percent from the floor (11-of-19) and 71.4 percent from the free throw line (10-of-14) during wins over UMES and Syracuse. He had 11 points and nine rebounds in a 68-49 win over UMES last Tuesday and then followed that up with a 21-point, nine-rebound effort as Georgetown beat then-No.
