The Fresno State women’s golf team has ended its time in Missouri as it placed third in the 2019 Johnie Imes Invitational, according to a Fresno State athletics news release.
The Bulldogs’ Tuesday performance was matched on Wednesday as they shot a 1-over-par 289 to solidify a third-place finish. This is Fresno State’s best finish since the team placed tied for second at the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational on March 21-23, 2019.
“We are really excited about two really good rounds in the second and third round here,” said head coach Emily Loftin in the release. “I am excited to see three players jump inside the top 15.
