Valley recruits prominent again as Bulldogs continue to rework roster

Fresno State took another step away from 1-11 on Tuesday, the first full practice day in fall camp, adding two new players to the roster in position groups under repair.

Included: former Central High cornerback Johnny Johnson, a graduate transfer from UCLA who is eligible to play this season and adds experience and depth at a spot the Bulldogs long have lacked requisite depth.

Coach Jeff Tedford also added defensive end Kwami Jones from College of San Mateo.

I told our guys to keep their eyes open. Thing pop up. We’re constantly evaluating and seeing who’s there.
