The Fresno State men’s basketball team defeated Montana State at home Saturday 80-67 on the strength of a nearly career-high in scoring from junior guard Deshon Taylor.
Taylor scored a season-high 31 points, one shy of his career-best mark of 32. Taylor has been on fire to start the season. Just six games into the year, he was leading the team in points per game at just over 17 going into the game.
“I just play defense, and the offensive end will come,” Taylor said.
Taylor almost equaled his season average in the first half alone with 15 points.
