Nevada 30, Fresno State 16, final

The Fresno Bee

Nate Butler broke through for a 59-yard scoring run as Nevada began to pull away from Fresno State in the second half with 13 unanswered points Thursday night in a Mountain West Conference game at Bulldog Stadium. The Wolf Pack leads 30-16.

On Fresno State’s first offensive play after Butler’s run, Daemon Bader intercepted quarterback Kilton Anderson. The Wolf Pack took over on its 27.

Nevada kicker Brent Zuso booted field goals of 30 and 25 yards in the third quarter. The latter capped a long Nevada drive that stalled on the Fresno State 8.
