Former Oregon State quarterback Marcus McMaryion took to Twitter on Tuesday night to announce he would be transferring to Fresno State.
“Excited to officially announce I will be finishing my collegiate career at Fresno State representing where I’ve always called home,” McMaryion wrote.
The Dinuba High product, who as a graduate transfer can play this season and has two years of eligibility remaining, announced that he would be transferring on Sunday, shortly after he was beaten out for the starting job at Oregon State by junior college transfer Jake Luton.
At Fresno State McMaryion, when cleared to join the team and practice, is expected to jump right into competition with sophomore Chason Virgil.
