Fresno State wide receivers wore matching undershirts during Saturday’s Spring Preview at Bulldog Stadium that had a special meaning.
Under their red jerseys they had a white shirt with black lettering: “WIDEOUTS” and “ALWAYS 7-11 OPEN” using the convenience store 7-Eleven’s logo.
“We don’t say wide receivers, we say wideouts,” Derrion Grim said. “7-Eleven is open 24 hours. As wide receivers, we’re always open. No matter what the play is or the route is, we’re always open.”
Bulldogs senior wide receiver Frank Dalena gets credit for the idea of matching shirts, Grim said.
