Fresno State’s men’s basketball series finale against the Boise State Broncos has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Broncos program, the Mountain West (MW) announced Friday afternoon.
The game will be rescheduled at a later time, pending approval from the MW and both schools. The online press release did not mention whether Fresno State has to deal with any contact tracing or positive cases within its own programs.
Both these teams played on Wednesday, where Boise State beat Fresno State 73-51. Fresno State (5-6, 3-6 MW) is currently on a three-game losing streak, and tonight’s game was called off just a couple hours before tipoff.
