Former Fresno State quarterback Zack Greenlee is transferring to UTEP.
“Very blessed to say I will be transferring to UTEP at the end of the semester,” Greenlee tweeted.
Once considered the heir apparent to Derek Carr after coming to Fresno State rated as the No. 9 quarterback prospect in the nation in 2012, Greenlee struggled to provided stability and leadership over the past two seasons.
Greenlee left the Bulldogs football program in January.
Then in the middle of the 2015 season, Greenlee was arrested for public drunkenness.
Greenlee finished his Bulldogs career having started seven of 10 games played.
