A total of 14 former Bulldogs have made their way onto NFL rosters.
This past weekend, teams had to make their final cut to their 53-man roster heading into the 2015 season.
Fresno State’s 14 players on active rosters is tops in the Mountain West. The Bulldogs had one more player make an NFL roster than Boise State, while Nevada had eight and Colorado State had seven make an active roster.
“It’s a big testament to Fresno State football,” junior cornerback Jamal Ellis said. “Our mentality and how we play football when we step out on that field.
