Ex-Fresno State standout Kyrie Wilson back in school learning Raiders’ defense

Just when Kyrie Wilson thought he was done with school, along came his first NFL training camp.

Wilson used to spend his time away from the football field studying toward a criminology degree at Fresno State. These days he’s spending it digesting the Oakland Raiders’ defense while trying to make the team as an undrafted free agent.

“Even though you don’t have class, it’s still like school,” said Wilson, a three-year starter for the Bulldogs.

“You’ve still got to go back to your room and study all the plays, all the film that you get in practice and go over stuff so you don’t make the same mistakes again.
