Behind the arm of quarterback Marcus McMaryion, Fresno State beat the Hawaii Warriors 31-21 on the road Saturday.
Fresno State received the ball to start the game but only gained 23 yards and was forced to punt. The Warriors and Bulldogs traded punts before Hawaii opened up the scoring on its second drive of the game.
Hawaii quarterback Dru Brown completed a 7-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kumoku Noa with 2:52 left in the first quarter.
The Bulldogs put together their first scoring drive of the game in the second quarter with 62 yards on 10 plays.
