‘Dogs lose sloppy game to UNLV 26-16

The Fresno State Bulldogs four-game win streak came to a crashing end Saturday 26-16 at Bulldog Stadium behind the UNLV Rebels’ stout defense and consistent rushing attack.

Although running back Jordan Mims had two rushing touchdowns on the night, the ‘Dogs offense was anemic in the second half. Their lone score came on a five-yard run by Mims.

Even though the ‘Dogs have been one of the best defensive teams in the conference, they gave up the most points to a Mountain West team in their five conference games that they’ve played.

The Rebels ran the ball over 35 times, moving the chains and also running the clock.
