Derek Carr is happy for the Fresno State football team.
Not only because the Bulldogs rolled past Hawaii 50-20 on Saturday, but the Bulldogs appeared in both national rankings on Sunday for the first time since 2013.
When he found out the Bulldogs cracked the Associated Press and Coaches Top 25 polls on Sunday, he said he was excited for coach Jeff Tedford and the team.
“I’m super proud of our guys in Fresno for being ranked,” Carr said Sunday. “I know their mindset, they’re not done yet. Hopefully they keep winning and keep climbing the rankings.
