Fresno State defensive end Mason Bradley has left the football team, according to sources in the program.
Bradley, who would have been a redshirt freshman this season, went through spring practices and this fall had a chance to compete for a spot in the two-deep at a position the Bulldogs are developing depth.
Junior Nate Madsen, who started 11 games last season at nose guard, has moved back outside to end and is expected to start. Senior Nick Kristofors came out of spring practices working with the first defense at the other end.
Fresno State players report for fall camp Wednesday, with the first practice Thursday.
