FSU basketball never had a shot at beating the Texas A&M Aggies on Friday evening. The Aggies were the better team from the jumpball, jumping out to an 11-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game, and FSU never threatened after that.
It was a perfect storm of FSU missing multiple three-pointers early, Texas A&M making three-pointers, and getting multiple offensive rebounds.
FSU never looked comfortable as Texas A&M pushed its lead to 24-6 with 14 minutes remaining in the first half. I mentioned FSU relies on the three-pointer too much, shooting 22 in the first half, and only making four.
