Last year, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets decided to move on from long time coach Paul Johnson and bring in Temple head coach Geoff Collins. This upset many people and was widely regarded as a bad move.
Well, unless you’re a Georgia Tech fan.
To those unaware, Georgia Tech was one of the last places you could see the remnants of the earliest forms of football: the flexbone offense. Three yards and a cloud of dust. When operating smoothly it is a beautiful thing to watch and a frustrating thing to defend.
However, they haven’t completely moved on.
