Three up, three down: Bryce Hubbart leads No. 17 FSU baseball to win over Clemson

No. 17 Florida State baseball (27-18, 18-13 ACC) took game one from Clemson (23-22, 15-16 ACC) by a score of 8-3 on Friday night. The Seminoles are now 9-3 on Fridays this season and have won their last five series openers. At the plate, the Seminoles produced eight hits and worked 10 free passes. On the mound, the Seminoles got five-plus innings from their starter on a weekend for the seventh straight game. In the field, the ‘Noles didn’t commit an error for the second straight game. Jack Anderson retired all six batters he faced to close the game out with his team-high fourth save of the season.
